# NEW Office Online Projects ## NEW Office Online Projects SIMnet is releasing a suite of Microsoft Office Online compatible projects. These projects have been designed and tested using Microsoft Office Online, the free online version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. These projects can be used by any subscriber to Office 2019/365 in their web browser. N**ote**: The Office Online Projects use the same base project as the previously available projects that were designed for the fully installed version of Office for Windows and Mac but they are not the same projects. Online Office does not have the full suite of options available with the locally installed version. Therefore the Office Online Projects have fewer points and do not include all of the same steps. You will need to assign Office Online Projects separately. Assigning an Office Online Project is the same as assigning any other project in SIMnet. However, the Office Online Projects are collected in a separate textbook.
