# SIMnet Office 2013 “Let Me Try” Confirmation Dialog Box Issue

There is currently an issue with using IE in Windows 7 where the confirmation dialog box after completing the step in the “Let Me Try” does not appear and you cannot get pass it to complete the task. This only impacts the “Let Me Try” for the Office 2013 content; the “Let Me Try” for the Office 2010 and computer concepts content work fine. There are no issues with the “Let Me Try” in IE with Windows 8. As a temporary workaround if your students are using Windows 7, please have them use Chrome or Firefox instead of IE. We are working on identifying the root cause and will provide an update as soon as possible.

**Update:** The issue with the “Let Me Try” using IE in Windows 7 is fixed as of 10:45PM EDT on 5/30/14

We would also like to inform you that a bug with the confirmation dialog box moving was fixed as of 5:43PM EDT on 5/28/14. That issue was reported earlier this week where the confirmation dialog box kept moving to the left every time you dismissed it, and eventually it disappeared from the screen. The students could have still continued with the task by clicking on the gray background. Students could have misreported this as the “Let Me Try” freezing or not being able to complete the task. This issue was seen in all the browsers and only impacted the “Let Me Try” for the Office 2013 content.

We apologize for any inconvenience this caused you and your students. Should you or your students have any questions, please contact our Customer Experience Group at <http://mpss.mhhe.com/contact.php>.
