Access 2013 Skills Approach – Skill Review 2.1 – The instruction pdf file can now be printed.

Access 2013 In Practice – Independent Project 3-5 – Feedback was updated to clarify hiding or deleting query fields.

The following Access projects were updated to add the form control type to feedback messages when grading form controls:

Excel

Excel 2013 Skills Approach – Fix It 4.6 – Corrected a problem when searching for text in a footer when extra formatting has been applied.

Excel 2013 Skills Approach – Challenge Yourself 8.4 (Mac Supported) – The start file had Calculation Options set to Manual instead of Automatic causing a grading issue. The start file has been updated setting Calculation Options to Automatic.

Excel 2013 In Practice – Independent Project 2-4 (Mac Supported) – Added alternate acceptable number formats.

Excel 2013 In Practice – Independent Project 3-4 (Mac Supported) – Updated chart outline color, changed a chart style, and fixed a problem with error explanations for number format decimal places.

Excel 2013 In Practice – Independent Project 4-5 (Mac Supported) – Updated error explanations regarding centering table data.

Word

The following projects were improved by replacing grading that searched for document elements based on paragraph numbers to search for elements based on surrounding text and other project improvements:

• Word 2013 Skills Approach – Fix it 5.6 (Mac Supported)

• Word 2013 In Practice – Independent Project 6-6

The following projects have been updated with improved grading functionality including using new methods to search for correct text, providing more specific error explanations, and checking that all text has been converted into tables:
