# SIMbook Assignment Issue Update

Dear Instructor,

We would like to inform you that the SIMnet team has successfully corrected a regional issue with the SIMbook assignments. Between 1:30AM CST-11:00AM CST on 1/17/2014, your students may have had a blank blue screen on some of the SIMbook pages and/or the Let Me Try button may have been grayed out and unavailable. The issue reoccurred between 3:00AM CST on 1/19/2014 and 5:00AM CST on 1/20/2014.

As of 5:00AM CST on 1/20/2014, the full functionality of the SIMbook assignments have been restored. Your students may need to clear their browser cache before loading the SIMbook assignments again.

Our team will continue to closely monitor the system to ensure its performance. Should you or your students experience any issues, please contact our Customer Experience Group at <http://mpss.mhhe.com/contact.php>.

We apologize for any inconvenience this caused you and your students.

Thank you again for your patience and continued support,

The SIMnet Team

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.simnetonline.com/blog/2014-posts/simbook-assignment-issue-update.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
