# New Feature: Shift Schedule When Copying a Course

When you are copying a class you can now shift each individual learning object by a specified number of days instead of updating each assignment type by a single specific date. This feature allows you to copy a class using the same schedule and order of assignments.

To shift the dates in a copied class, select**Manage**in the left-hand navigation. Locate the class to be copied and in the**Actions**menu select**Copy to Class**.

In the*Scheduling*section, deselect the**Enable Schedule by Dates**check box and select the**Shift Schedule by Number of Days**box. Select the number of days to shift the course by in the**Number of days to update dates for learning objects**box. You shift the dates of the copied course forward or backward by 730 days, equivalent to 2 years.
