# Create Resource

Resource items can be uploaded in the form of either files or hyperlinks. To create a new Resource, click the **Create** link in the Resources section.

## Create a New Resource File&#x20;

### 1. :keyboard: Type a title

Type a name for the file in the **Item Title** box.

### 2. :card\_box: Select item type

Expand the **Item Type** menu, and select **File**.

### 3. :point\_up\_2: Choose a file

Click the **Choose File** button to locate the file you want to upload. The primary file should be the students start file.

### 4. :floppy\_disk: Save and continue

## Create a Hyperlink Resource

### 1. :keyboard: Type a title

Type a name for the link in the **Item Title** box.

### 2. :link: Select item type

Expand the **Item Type** menu, and select **Link**.

### 3. :point\_up\_2: Enter the URL

Enter the URL in the **Link Location** box.
