# Enabling 3rd party cookies

Accessing SIMnet from your school's Canvas or Blackboard page requires you to allow cookies from SIMnet. To do this you need to activate 3rd party cookies on your bowser. Review the steps below for your browser and OS

### Windows

In your Chrome browser,

1. Open the settings menu by clicking **More** at the top right, and selecting **Settings**.
2. On the left menu, select **Privacy and security** then click **Cookies and other site data**.
3. Select either **Allow all cookies** or **Block third-party cookies in Incognito** as you prefer.

In your Firefox browser,

1. Click the **Open menu** button in the upper right corner of the browser. Select **Options**.
2. Click **Privacy and Security** on the left menu.
3. Select the **Custom** radio button in the *Enhanced Tracking Protection* section and deselect the **Cookies** check box.

In your Edge browser,

1. Click the **Settings and more...** button in the upper right corner of the browser. Select **Settings**.
2. Click **Privacy & Security** on the left menu.
3. In the *Cookies* section, select the **Don't block cookies** option from the drop-down menu.

3. In the *Tracking Prevention* section, deselect the on/off toggle in the upper right corner of the section to turn off tracking prevention.

1. Select **Safari** in the top menu and select **Preferences**.
2. Select the **Privacy** tab. 
3. Ensure both the **Website tracking** check box and the **Cookies and website data** check box are deselected.
