Deep Integration - Instructor Course Copy/Relink
The Assignment Relinking Process is generally a one time process. The purpose of relinking is to update the internal pairing links that SIMnet uses to communicate with your LMS assignments. When you copy a LMS class the assignment links point toward the source SIMnet class, the SIMnet relinking process will update these assignment links to match your current SIMnet class.
Warning: You may use the relinking process to push or pull dates to and from SIMnet and the LMS after your first relink. However, be sure not to overwite your work by prematurely pulling in data from the LMS to SIMnet.
Please review the steps below for Blackboard.
Note - This may be completed by your LMS admin or course coordinator. If you need assistance with this step, please reach out to your LMS admin.

To re-link your assignments using the SIMnet assignment title, points, and dates click Relink Push. This process will relink and update the LMS assignment title, points, and dates to match the values in SIMnet.
Note: Blackboard users - If your school’s Blackboard is managed-hosted or self-hosted, it needs to be on the Q4 2019 or newer version of Blackboard for the relinking to work. If your school’s Blackboard is on SaaS, then it will always be on the latest version of Blackboard and relinking will work.
Warning - You must copy the SIMnet section that was paired to the LMS section you copied in step 1. Copying a different section will cause the relink process to fail because the new SIMnet section won't contain the same assignments as the original LMS section.
Note - This may be completed by your LMS admin or course coordinator. Otherwise, steps can be found here.
