All Applications: Switch Between Office Accounts

Switch between an Office 365 work or school account without leaving any Office App.

  1. Click your name and picture at the top right of the window.

  2. If you've already added your account to Office, click the account name. Otherwise, select Sign in with a different account and follow the sign-in prompts.

All Applications: Search for a Recent File

New functionality in Backstage view to type in the search box to search for a file by name.

  1. Click the File tab.

  2. Click Open.

  3. Type the file name in the Search text box and select a file in the auto populated drop-down.

All Applications: Appearance of the Accessibility Checker Pane

New checkbox and link below the Error box in the Accessibility Pane.

Word: Transform Word Document Into a Webpage

Access: Active Tabs

Cosmetic and functionality change to tabs in Access. Tabs are draggable and the X to close appears on the tab.

The Chart button name has changed from Insert Chart to Insert Modern Chart.

New Accessibility Checker

A new option named Transform has been added to the navigation pane in Backstage view. When clicked, the user is taken back into Word and the Transform to Web Page pane displays.

There is now a search function in Insert Icons dialog.

New button/group on the Home tab. Click the Ideas button and Excel will analyze your data, and return interesting visuals about it in a task pane.

There’s a new group on the Insert tab named Forms. Click the Forms button to open the Forms panel where you can add surveys or quizzes into your presentation.

The Online Video dialog has changed. There is no longer an option to search YouTube.
