SIMnet has released its new updates for Office 365/2019 users. These updates match SIMnet content with the current Microsoft Office July 2021 Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel update. Microsoft releases their Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel updates in January and July. SIMnet catalogs the relevant changes, determines which portions of SIMnet must be updated, and completes those updates.
Updates to SIMnet include changes to all Microsoft Applications and include visual updates, new organization, new names, and new features. All Exam, SIMbook and Lesson questions are updated as well as all Projects.
Note: SIMnet does not provide updates to Office 2016 content.

SIMnet users can now review Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Mobile shortcuts and commands that are used throughout Microsoft Office products while in SIMbook, Exam, and SIMpath questions. These Device Tips show users how to use their hardware and software setups to answer SIMnet questions correctly.
These Device Tips can be accessed at any time while answering simulation questions in an Exam, SIMpath or SIMbook. In the upper right corner of the question window there is a ? icon. Click the icon to view the Device Tips.

The Device Tips are automatically set to display the tips for your current operating system. You can view other setups by clicking on their corresponding tab.

McGraw Hill announced that it has acquired Triad Interactive, Inc., the software developer of the widely-used SIMnet product for undergraduate computer and information technology courses, as well as the affiliated company Deca Software, LLC, which runs the ecommerce site for the sale of SIMnet.
The Acquisition follows 20 Years of partnership between the companies and shows McGraw Hill’s continued investment in Digital Learning tools and content

UPDATE: 3/29/21 The 365/2019 MOS Access Expert book has been released and is now available alongside the other MOS books.
SIMnet is introducing new SIMbooks organized specifically for students to prepare for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams. Microsoft Office Specialist exams are a well-recognized certification. Microsoft offers Associate level exams in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (but not Access). Microsoft offers Expert level exams in Access, Excel and Word (but not PowerPoint).
SIMnet now offers the 365/2019 MOS Office SIMbook complementary with all 365/2019 Office Level licenses. The 365/2019 MOS Office SIMbook includes content for the three Microsoft Office Specialist Associate level exams (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and for the Access Expert level exam.
SIMnet also offers individual SIMbooks for each Office Application that come with each edition of the Complete book series:

SIMnet has released an upgraded Help System for both instructors and students. The new help system has more in-depth articles that cover both the How and the Why of using SIMnet features.
In the Instructor help, view the Best Practices section before you set up your course for next semester, or read the topic on the ins and outs of Integrity Violations before you set your Project Assignment preferences.
In the Student Help, share with your students the nuances of using SIMnet outside of Windows and the Common Mistakes that students run into when doing Project Assignments.
New SIMnet Help System
To access the new SIMnet Student Help, click the SIMnet Instant Help link at the bottom of the sign in page, or click the ? icon when logged in as a student and click either the relevant link that is available or click the All Topics button.
To access the new SIMnet Course Manager Help, log in as an instructor and click the Help buoy icon. Select the context-specific help topic or click the All Topics button.
