As you you may have seen, Microsoft has released Office 2016 for Mac users. This is the first update to Office for Mac since 2011. Now you’ll have the latest upgrades to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (also Outlook and OneNote).

You can upgrade your own Mac Office with a 365 subscription.
To check your office version, open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. To see your version, choose the Word menu and click About Word; the Excel menu and click About Excel; or the PowerPoint menu and click About PowerPoint. If the number after the word Version is greater than or equal to 15, you have successfully installed Office 2016 for Mac. If the number after the word Version is less than 15, you are using Office 2011 for Mac.
