Essential Skills in Generative AI

New Library badge for Generative AI now available.

An Essential Skills in Generative AI badge is now available in SIMnet!

Upon successful completion of the Let Me Try’s in the Introduction to Generative AI and CoPilot book, a credential will be issued to the student.

Currently it will be grouped with White Belt in reports, and at the end of the year all White Belts will be renamed as Essential Skills.

Generative AI Badge
As a student, when viewing the book from the Library, the badge will be displayed. When the student earns the badge, the date issued date displays and the student can launch to view or post to social media.
The number of the Gen AI badges earned by students will be noted on the instructor dashboard in the Credentials Issued tile.

NOTE: Learners who have already completed the required Let Me Try exercises for this content prior to Badge availability will be able to manually claim the badge by visiting their Library in SIMnet by clicking the claim badge link.
